Course overview

Designed to guide healthcare professionals learning Point-of-Care ultrasound (PoCUS), on Intelligent Ultrasound Simulators, the course covers key topics in bedside ultrasound examinations and guides practical skill development on the HeartWorks simulator.

Developed by John Shields, DNP, CRNA; the course is comprised of eight modules covering echocardiography, FAST and FATE protocols, as well as airway, gastric and pulmonary ultrasound. Along with the fundamentals of each application, clinical utility is addressed through the use of course materials including lessons, readings, videos and tests.
